Added hardware write protection support for more controllers

ProtectUSB Content now supports hardware write protection for additional SMI and ALCOR controllers.

 

Player updates now optional (requiring no admin rights)

Windows and MacOSX player updates now optional to allow continued usage of the previous version in the event of available updates. This is especially important for environments with users without admin privileges, who previously had to update to continue.

 

New ProtectUSB strict mode enhancements

ProtectUSB offers the strict mode for making sure written USB sticks have been created as intended. Strict mode has been extended with additional checks to detect and prevent more failure states.
