Protect Software releases new software protection in time for holiday season

September, 1st, 2008 – Protect Software just unveiled the latest version of its software protection system featuring a totally renewed anti-cracking and anti-emulation layer as well as the introduction of the new copy protection SDK.

The new version comes in time to be used for major games to be released during the holiday season. “As earlier versions of our protection systems, we expect this version, especially combined with the SDK, to be very robust against piracy of any sort, and thus to significantly boost the holiday sales of our clients”, says Volkmar Breitfeld, CEO of Protect Software GmbH.

The new protection version is independent of programming languages and can be used to protect any software. The SDK is available for software in C/C++ only.
